Ok dave. I thought the tank swap would be quite straightforward tho?

Cheers

There are very important health & safety considerations to be taken into account when swapping a fuel tank. I've suggested that the old tank is removed outside the hall and the car pushed inside. The car needs other jobs doing though (carpets fitting, wing repair etc).

This is especially true if there is welding going on nearby.

Yes, let's confirm on those cars. I think it will be plenty of work for the day (I don't remember anything in the rules saying we need to work until 7pm  ) and will be a nice variety of cars for the stand.

Don't forget that the clocks go back tonight.

Right... I'll be coming a bit later than the rest... As Ceri wants to leave at about 5.30, I'm about an hour away from her so that means getting out of bed at like 4 in the morning! And that I'm afraid is just not possible. So Rich and I will be leaving at about 7 in the Micra and be with you about 2 nd 3/4 hours after that. I'll bring some imperial ratchet spanners :D

Surely there's an easy solution Adam - Just don't go to bed the night before ;) That way it won't be early, it'll still be late...

Ok all the cars are now on the stand, its not as big as we thought, just enough room for 3 cars!!

Considering the space i dont think we will be doing any welding, its just not possible with sparks flying around its just to close to other vehicles and the walkway!!

Vons car is in the hall with all the fuel drained from the tank, the tank is in situ so to make it more interesting!!

see you guys there, Have a safe journey up/down!!

Ps Anybody comming through coventry that may be able to give me and von a lift?? as both cars are in the hall we have no transport and even im not that clever to drive 3 cars home!! we live 10min away from M6 junction 2!! If you can, you can ring me on 07931832670 only thing is we need to be there befor 9.30am

Thanks Nathan + Von

Do what I did and book in at the hotel right by tomorrow's rendez-vous point. (the BP garage on the A45) No getting up at stupid o'clock and driving all the way down to Coventry.
