I'm in a pickle; a member kindly posted some brackets to me which I need to carry out the overdrive conversion on my car. Unfortunately, they've not yet arrived. If they don't arrive tomorrow, well I'm not going to be doing much on Sunday. Furthermore, I've just realised that I need another part. It's the gearbox mounting bracket, the bit with the stud attached which goes through the rubber gearbox mount. Oh, I'm also short of the piece of wiring that hooks into the loom. I've got the wiring for the overdrive switch, the piece that goes through the gearlever, but isn't there another section needed to connect this to the loom?
I'm trying not to panic, honestly... 8-[

Is being collected from my house by Purple barge Ken at around 9:30. I've also just come into posession of a rear vent panel(above the rear screen). Not perfect nick, but if anyone wants it, I'll bring it to Stoneleigh tomorrow . My time arrival is TBC!

Just to let you all know. I'll be taking some bits of regalia to the show but nothing major. Mostly badges and stickers, etc. Main reason is I don't have huge amounts of room in the car at the moment (should've bought the estate version  ) and I'll be bringing the tolly seats (free to whoever wants 'em, if not then they'll get binned). Plus I'll be bringing carpet, etc home with me.

If anyone wants specific bits then let me know asap.

Cheers :D

Just got online at the hotel. I'm at the Express Holiday Inn in Rugby (the Cov hotel was fully booked. That would've been perfect as it is opposite the rendez-vous point) with my good lady.

Hope Andy got back ok

Good to see you all there today.

Dave, sorry I didn't get round to helping clean up the electricals :( , at least I bolted the air filter back on for you  Thanks for the steering wheel. Many thanks to Justyn for bringing over the black carpet :D Very nice to meet Bruce and his family, however, it wasn't healthy for me from a biking perspective

Did manage to valet most of the interior of the engine swap 1500SE and made quite a positive impact even if I do say so myself :D Mucho respect to all the spanner twirlers on the stand. Maybe LWD or LWT might be there next year :D

Overall a good day
