Made a start on refitting the subframe assemblies this afternoon.







The shell should be coming home this Saturday.

My final trip to the spray shop this morning before THJ returns home one evening next week. We agreed the end of March, give or take. Doors have been sprayed & the satin black applied. He has a bit of polishing to do, fit the doors and that's about it.








I finished off the subframe assembly this afternoon, fitted the steering rack & the front ARB.

I think I will have to see this car in the flesh as the photos don't do it justice. Too many variations in shade to get a true idea.

The last shot almost makes it look like damson. That isn't a knock at your photo skills Mart I think this colour is just hard to photograph

Anyway, shade aside. She looks BRILLIANT! Bet she's finished in 3 weeks.

Please, please, please do a 1300FWD next, that would be so cool.

superb job again on this car Mart, must require enormous perseverance to do them over and over again. The magenta is a bit too bright for me, but I'm a Mimosa man so no accounting for my tastes.
