Question;
What diff are you running? Open or Welded/LSD?
1978 Twilight Purple Dolomite 1850HL The Lolomite.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.

Will tr7 axle bolt straight on?
I'm not worried about the width.

Its not a direct bolt in, the upper arms have a different (better) location method and the lower arm mounts are a bit further apart,this may be get round-able just with the movement in the bushes, it's only about an inch per side. I think the overall track difference is in the region of 2.75" across the hub flanges (no doubt someone will be exact, I only measured it roughly against a Toledo 4.11 axle)
I have all 4 arms to go with that axle..........

The steering is quite heavy at parking speeds,
the inner wheel skips when Turning slowly.
But it is much more predictable when going
Sideways!!
I have not snapped any half shafts and I'm running
7" rear wheels.
I have got to change my wheel bearing seals
But they were shot before I welded the diff!!
An LSD would be better,just not at £700+!!
