Are the areas on the rear door where ,theyve been adjusted to get the gaps better/right

Hi Dave

Yes the offside rear door has been repaired and the near side door has had the front and rear edges adjusted for a better fit. The door gaps are not great on Dollies this one the near side seems better than the offside. We had to adjust the bonnet hinges as well to get it to sit right along the front edge. It was high on one side for some reason, a bit of heat and a large hammer sorted that out..

Built 26/6/1980, 3 previous owners (2 within the same family).

Supplied by Lavender Hill Garage Ltd, Enfield, London, by garage owner Jimmy Metcalfe on 30th September 1980 to Geoffrey Robinson, Enfield, London.

Cheers Mart, if you would like to relive your Resto days I would love some help with the vinyl roof, it's one of the jobs I am not looking forward to.

I saw the car today, the paint looks great, they are doing the black bits today then fitting up the doors so hopefully it will be back with me on Friday.
