[on topic (sorry Joe)]East side of the County, about 8 miles North of Morpeth, the club organising is the RRVC (Red Row Vintage Club) and this event is now in its 9th year at this venue. Always well-attended, wet or dry, it's a good day out and is right on the coast, separated from the beach by some landscape work and a National Trust (or is it RSPB? Can't remember. ) visitor centre and ice cream selling facility.[/on topic (sorry Joe)]

5. 1965 Jaguar E-type coupe. (Covered in a thick layer of dust as has now been mothballed for 22 years)

RIVER WALK

There's this blonde out for a walk. She comes to a river and sees another blonde on the opposite bank 'Yoo-hoo!' she shouts, 'How can I get to the other side?'

The second blonde looks up the river then down the river and shouts back, 'You ARE on the other side.'

Is it just me, or has this place become very handbags at dawn recently.

That is such a cool picture, where was it taken? As well a the Concorde I also spy a DC3 there, the aircraft that started mass airline transportation and is still going strong today.
All the airline pilots I know love Boeings, they all describe them as real pilot aeroplanes while none has a good word to say about anything by Airbus.
As the old saying goes "If the plane doesn't say Boeing, I'm not going"

I have a friend who is an air steward for BA who says pretty much the same thing.. although he does have a sweet spot for the Airbus A320. Favourite is (of course) the old 747

Photo was taken back in 2007 at the Seattle Museum of Flight, I think it was something to do with the launch celebrations for the 787..

Many, many years ago I watched a DC-3 take off (either from either Duxford or Farnborough air show), the image, sound and smell of which is ingrained in my memory for ever

I met a Dyslexic yorshire man today, he was wearing a cat flap.

What a day. The useless modern car decided to overheat. Where the severn bridge toll plaza 8 lanes from the hard shoulder.

Problem the aircon computer went wrong and switched off the ruddy cooling fans. Fuse box is a melted mess but thankfully the the head is OK.
