Mart.
I had a set of spax on a car that I took the engine out of for a while. When I put the engine back in it was way too high. I kind of ignored it and drove it up and down the road (about 3-4 miles I guess) By the time I got back it had settled down nicely.

Oh and I tried bouncing up and down on it as well and my 15 stone didn't make any difference!!

That is one very very nice car - hopefully my Pimento one will come out as good as yours - probably in about 2025.

Seriously good and swift progress Mart, really loooking great, this is going to be a real nice motor. Dunno how you do it, I can't keep up with the pace even just watching via the web.
Jonners made a comment about the ARB. Might be worth slackening off top bj to upper arms and one or two other bolts, let cat settle under own weight then tighten them up with car on ground.

Yea, I may well do that Malc. The ARB will go either way won't it? ie, it's flat?

Well another weekend gone & got quite a bit done. All doors now completely reassembled except for a couple of wood cappings & door cards (found one of the quarter light assemblies was NOS

)., boot & bonnet are on. Just need to put the front bumper on & passenger seat in, then just a few odds & ends.
Thanks to James (Knightrider150) who helped me put the last door on on Saturday.

Loooks faaan-tastic.
What kind of under-body protection are you going to be doing, and will you be doing anything to the inner arches?

by Mad Mart
The under body has been sprayed with a stone chip type paint. I may get it done with that schultz type stuff. The inner arches have been sprayed body colour & that's how they're gonna stay (unless the next owner wants to change them.

Well, you no me Graeme, always dragging me heels. Bit like when I drive round the track.
Good to see you're still around though. Bet you can't remember the last time you saw ADA now that you have two sprogs?

Yeah I'm still here although I don't know what I used to do with my time!
ADA? I vaguely remember that car!!
Its not just the kids though - now I'm a high flyer I spend more time working than ever before - I'm off to our Phillipines office next week to outsource some work! Crazy times!
I might decide to stay out there yet! Well maybe if it wasnt for the terrorists, kidnappers, typhoons and lack of dolomites!

Time spent messing with your track Sprint is why the red one isn't finished

It is looking absolutely splendid Mart. club stock has a set of std spec Balck coachlines, 2 sets left, your name is on one of them unless you tell me otherwise. Looking forward to seeing this one in the flesh
