I wouldn't take the fwd martin as Ken will spend the whole day crying because he luuuurves the fwd stylee and wants a whole one for himself.
or if you are feeling really evil take the fwd and make a youtube movie of an old hairy (ex)biker crying over a shiney old car.
New to the Dolomite Club glad to have signed up. OK, SOS to you guys, really would like to go the Ace Cafe (where exactly is it?), but problems starting Dolly Blue Baby, she turns but won't start, all servicing bits have been changed, admittedly she was standing in garage for 12 years, but I can hear she wants to start, any ideas as to the best way forward, or anyone available to come over to New Cross,?? Limited knowledge, but open to learning! All the best in the meantime.
C'mon guys, we have to really go for this one now.
Des, the Ace is just off the A406 (Park Royal bit). They have a great website and exact directions are on there I think. I'll have a look later and will try and post something.

try starting it by taking off the air filter and spraying in some carb cleaner, make sure the dash pot has oil in it first, if it runs on carb cleaner than it is a fuel problem, if not its a ignition problem. not a strict rule but works most times.
sometimes after a dose of cc they will run.
I'm still really looking forward to this and meeting some of you, but i'm sorry to say my dolly won't be ready in time , i'll probably be on my kawasaki if the weathers not pants!
My car currently only has paint on the roof, it is without trim, bumpers and the rest of it's paint. The interior is a mixture of exposed wires, broken seats, unstuck carpet and dust from sanding. It is scruffier than a very scruffy thing and I am embarassed driving it around. However, if it is not raining, I will still try and come because it is driveable and it gives you guys a chance to laugh at the car!
