They changed at engine number WF67918 but there's no way to be sure without looking, as it's not hard to swap carbs over and many cars will have the wrong ones on by now.
If you have waxstats then the jet sticking out the bottom of the carb looks as above, if you don't then it doesn't and instead looks something like this
A frequent cuase of erratic idle is worn throttle spindles or the poopet valves on later butterfly valves which tend to stick open intermittently...
Plain throttle discs will cure the latter. The former needs throttle spindle rebushing...
I say again...waxtstats are fine if they work properly. But they block with dirty fuel same as ordinary ones...
I have a dolly 1850 on non waxstats at the moment and its an utter dog when cold....
The TR7 one on waxstats barely needs any choke to start and runs fine at all temps...
So does the waxtstat sprint, although it does occasionally idle a bit erratically due to poppet valves not closing.

Note from Admin: sadly Jon passed away in February 2018 but his humour and wealth of knowledge will be fondly remembered by all. RIP Jonners.
Working properly I guess they're OK. But they're twice the price to buy, and I don't want to spend more on this car than I paid in parts if I can help it.
I know I'm going off topic but the leaking manifold can be cured with some Halfrauds exhaust putty. I had the same problem with Brown when it was blowing. I took the manifold off the head, binned the gaskets (one of them had failed) and reassembled it with the previously mentioned putty and it worked a treat. It really needs to be done before you can adjust the carbs.
