Deffo up for Bromley, but can't do both

I'm planning to be at the Ace Cafe like last year.
Usually a good day out.
How many does that make??

Often a good day out. I was a bit late last year. Its best to get there before lunch.

Folks,

I have now established for sure that I will not have a Dolomite shaped car of any sort to show at Bromley.

I like Mike's idea of a clean Sprint, a clean other variant and a clean "lairy" variant to give variety and distinction.

I know that Ken is interested/available and would be delighted to put his car on the stand. Are Alistair and Howard still up for this? If others are interested please speak up and then in fairness to all concerned I will conduct a "ballot" for the three spaces if it comes to that.

Please bear in mind it will be an early start, requiring you to be at Bromley for 8.00 - 8.30ish am.

I spoke to the event organisers yetserday and the tickets and passes should be with me this week.

I will be borrowing a frame tent from my Scout Group for use as a 'base', and will liaise with Justyn regarding banners, etc as I can pick them up on one of my regular south coast sorjourns. I will provide some tea and coffee making facilities, again courtesy of the Scouts.

I will give further updates as I have them.

I would like to confirm the cars ASAP please.

Yep Banner, it does say 'southern area' on it though. I have laminated info cars (the intro to TDC/dolomites that you get in the welcome pack) and some bunting as well.

Tickets and passes have arrived safely over the weekend whilst I was away. We are stand C38, very close to the main arena so we should enjoy good footfall. You will need to enter via the Hayes Lane entrance and NOT Bromley Common.

I know that Ken is up for this (with car). Howard is too, but from catching up on posts over the weekend, it would seem his Sprint is poorly - any update please Howard?

I still need a third car as Al cannot make it and my car has its heart removed next week in major surgery and will not be ready. Any volunteers please?

Do we have a stand in car in case Howard's is still ill?

I will be bringing a tent for some shade/cover and some refreshments. I also have a small barbie which I can bring along. If Ken can collect the banner from Simon Wood that would be great. I can bring cable ties etc. I do not possess a gazebo but will try and see if I can borrow one for the day. I will need one of you to pick me up as predictably I will not have a car to go to the show in!

It would be good to have some regalia to sell on the day and some membership forms, but I am unsure how to organise this.

So, Ken, Howard (?), and one other please come forward.....

So I now need two cars - preferably a Sprint and one other, but at this stage I am not too fussed. Something with a "Dolomite" badge would be appropriate methinks.

You get free entry to the show for yourself and one passenger if that swings it!

I certainly intend to attend the Bromley Pageant - I'd be happy to turn up in my 1300 FWD

That's perfect as we will have a FWD, a 1500TC, now all we need is a Dolomite.

Come on folks - someone must be able to bring a Triumph Dolomite to Bromley.
