Actually i'm more into the forest. My daily dolomite i've raised about 2,5 inch from standard so when i'm in the mood i can take a shortcut through the sand roads anytime.
My replica grp 2 sprint will also have forest spec. I wish i was born 20 years earlier and could drive a decent RAC rally.
With the car in the pictures it started all. I was 18 and this was my first out of control dolomite. (you are young and want to do something with your first car so that is my excuse for this one).
The brown one is my daily driver at the moment. I drive it for 5 years now and 185.000km (your older and don't have an excuse for this one.)

Hi all
For all my sins i have taken the plunge and booked myself in for this silverstone track day on 22nd March.
This really is something i have wanted to do since i acquired the dolly and i thought if i wait til im ready and the car is ready it will probably never happen.
Im so excited and truely happy that there are going to be quite a few triumphs present, that will just add to the occasion. I look forward also to meeting another 1850 engined beaster in the likes of 2Toledos tolly. I just hope deep deep down that its dry. PLEASE.....................

Nice videos indeed. those esses after the start are very nice but I guess confusing for the non experience drivers, cock up in the first corner your done in the rest.
Jeroen I think we have to cramp a 3' sprint into the lorry next year , going on a real F1 circuit is so much better than these smaller club circuits, probable not by far the old boy's atmosphere but the riding part, read grip, and escape space is all that counts. Done crofts, and Malory, but would love to race on Silverstone.
Watching the video's got a bit exited, could feel my blood started to pump. To long ago been in a racing car, s##t.

Yes, Jon - The lust for more straight-line speed continues; but, let's face it; most of the fun is to be had in the bendy bits
Note to self: Use direct 4th more on the next outing and don't rely on the (easy/lazy option !) overdrive, so much.
Yes, Hans - That's one of the (many) good things about Silverstone: There's plenty of run-off if you get it wrong, and it works wonders for your confidence. Also, getting the line right for the esses (Maggots; Beckets; and Chapel) takes a few goes (Not saying I have got it right; but, it seems to work for the car !). Helps if you study the circuit layout before you go out on track, too. Wise to do this for any circuit that you've not driven before.
