I was wondering the same thing. I remember seeing Edd China do the "nut, long bolt and flat washers" method on Wheeler Dealers when he replaced some suspension arm bushes on the Ford Capri they had. (the suspension arm looked similar to the Dolly's)

Greased, fitted, and wrapped in clean rags. And they did it in their lunch hour.

it worked for me when using very hard super flex type bushes.
