Yep 1pm crossing on the friday, Davbat had booked that one as well, Chris and Lou will be coming over on Saturday morning.
If you haven't booked the camping please call graham, his number is on the IOW website to let him know you are going and will pay on the day.
We will meet in the entrance to Mayflower park at 12-1215.

Justyn,
I've not booked camping yet, so thought I'd better get this Graham's number but can't find it on the IOW page, am I missing something..? (that question is not rhetorical... :) )

Cheers Dave...

Couldn't find his number either but the form says its valid untill the 23rd so if posted today should arrive in time. Oh and in another dutch moment I seem to have accidently booked myself on the 0100 ferry rather than the 1300 ferry so I think im going to be pleading with red funnel as well

Well, you'll have plenty of time to bag the best camping spot, and to find a camping shop for new tent poles :P )

I was wondering when that might surface again. Last time I went camping I unrolled the tent only to discover the poles where still at home and that it was 7pm

Not as stupid as going camping for the SDD weekend and leaving the tent in another car at home, two sleeping in the back of a vectra estate is not recommended.

1300 is now packed ready for the off at 05.30 tomorrow. Yes the tent poles are in the car. As are some tools and spares. Bruce was running a wee bit hot today but there was a fair bit of slow traffic. 2/3rds up the gauge.

Lovely to meet up with you all. Shame I didn't have a triumph, but the landy was a better choice for the rest of the time we were out there.

Hope the weather we had when we got back didn't reach you!

Called in on Saturday.

Lot's of tents, a couple of cars but no people. Apparently gone off on a mass jolly around the island.

Always late for a party me.

Hope you managed to dodge the showers and had a good time.

It was a great weekend yet again (except for Sarahs late night bout of illness, she has recovered now) there was a good turn out from the dolomite family, including a tatty 1300fwd, the 'ashes2ashes' 1850,chriss shiney sprint and even Davbat braved the weather leaving his sandglow sprint outside in the night time rain (albeit under a cover) and a few other dollys, 8 in total out of the 60ish triumphs there.sadly due to the weather which wasn't too bad for a bank holiday i was unable to get all the dolomites together for a photoshoot.

Saturday saw a trip to Amazon World and sunday a trip to Calbourne Mill who were also hosting a steam traction event and the isle historic military vehicle group so lots to see.
with entertainment on site the clubhouse with a quiz and raffle.

A weekend not to miss well organised by Graham and co from the IOW branch of TSSC.
next years TDC attendance is already in the plans and will be advertised well in advance on the forum and in DM.
