I am no expert on standard ride height settings but it is often a matter of individual preference.
I would keep experimenting until the car looks and drives right. The most important thing is that the heights are level side to side. Depending on the length of your springs you should be able to find a good compromise. Be aware that a lot of spring settling occurs after fitting so don't go adjusting until you have driven on each adjustment for a good few miles.
Having said that, if you have stripped wheel nuts I wouldn't drive it anywhere until you have replaced them. Readily available from owners on here, eBay etc
I live in London but was brought up outside Chester. Whereabouts are you?
What sort of work are you looking to get done? I may be able to recommend someone depending on what it is.

Re: New Boy
hey thats great thanks for the advice. New wheel nuts should be waiting at home for me today. I live in Holywell. Bits needing doing are the vinyl roof on the pillars, looks like someones had a go before and the glue hasnt taken, roof is a nice job so want to get it right, and I'm getiing some clutch judder in 1st and reverse, and there is evidence of a bit of oil flying round the engine bay, as i get to to know the car it may become apparent or obvious, but in case I cant, i was just after some recommendations. Unfortunately not in London on the 12th, but will keep an eye out for other events.
Thats a great car by the way!

Re: New Boy
On the subject of ride height, I'm thinking of raising mine about six inches. OK it'll handle like a barge but my back will be so much the better for it the time I spend under the bonnet.
Seriously, welcome to the club and to Sprint ownership Marco
