Would of been nice if it was a Ghia or Ghia X but still quite rare to see these days :)
There's a chap in Paignton here in Devon that has a very nice Ghia saloon in Caspian Blue metalic that gets used quite often. That is a very nice car
used to live in Totnes at the top of Jubilee road and that picture looks like Lee Mill car park and I too like Granada's.
Really  Top end as at the junction with Bridgetown hill then.I live in Higher Westonfields so not many stones throws from where you were :) Very small world indeed :D

That's right, the owner had his copy proudly displayed in the front windscreen of his car.

Wish I had asked him where he got the model of the Toledo from that was on the rear parcel shelf.

Indeed I know where you are! I have not forgotten the constant squeek of brakes from 10 onwards during holiday time when Totnes becomes a traffic queue!
However I do remember fondly Totnes town and walking down the hill in winter to meet friends for a drink in the Dartmouth Inn.
We moved back here to Hampshire in 2004.
track action maniac.

Nice, but not a 15/60  (in spite of the added bonnet mascot from the earlier model). It's the late Maurice Cole's 5 bearing, 1798cc MGB-engined (with overdrive, 4-synchro MGB gearbox) 16/60, seen here parked beside my Oxford VI in the car park at the 1987 Bristol Classic Car Show, in Bristol, in 1987 :D :

It was, so my C.O.O.C. member friend tells me, restored again in about 2003 and its original plate reinstated as the family kept MHC103 back. 8) (Steel wings for the 1500 and 1622 Farinas are currently only £300 per pair and are remanufactured ones that fit. Hmm, I wonder which other British classic could use this kind of availability?)

Actually yesterday's Top Spot . On our trip to the South Coast we were passed by a Bentley Mark 5 ( I think) on the M25 in the pouring rain . Not only was he keeping up with the modern , he was beating them ! Well Done Sir ! And he acknowledged us !
I must get in-car photo set up.
And hello to the white van that also knew of the car near the M3 junction .
Tony.

Not today but Moday iirc I was passed on the northbound slab 3 by a healey who clearly thinks that doing the continental is a much better way of getting about....
I was in SFB at the time but the misery failed to acknowledge me, even though I helped him clear lane 3 of a dawdling 5 series....from behind him halfway between the lanes...:-)

Nice one...Mitch those halogens are good for that. Must have been humiliation city for the beemer being comprehensively burnt off by 2 old brits in line astern

Note from Admin: sadly Jon passed away in February 2018 but his humour and wealth of knowledge will be fondly remembered by all. RIP Jonners.
