I'll probably need the AA to come get me at some point so that'll bolster the numbers a bit....

Well it was well worth battling through the queue of knackered Bugs, Rollers, a couple of Standards and a few others - I was pretty impressed that the Toledo didn't blow up although i wouldn't have liked to have been behind me she was smelling a bit rich....
Once on the showground had a great time it was nice to meet a couple of you and chat, apologies for dissappearing had to get off for work. Counted 6 Dolly's on my travels numerous Stags and few Spits, quite sadly I think my favourite car was a really well turned out Ford Escort 1.3 Huntsman parked a couple of rows behind where a few of us were parked up.
It wasn't getting any cooler when I buggered off, i'm guessing the heat caused a fair few more casualties on the way home...

Hi All,
Well this was my 1st time to Cranleigh; enjoyed the day but the 50 minute queue to 'get in' upset a few and did challenge a few old cars to keep cool... I was assured that this was the first time and it was only a minor hiccup due to change of field, a decision based on our early appalling weather in the year..! Here's a few pics of the day...

Oxtail 69's Dolly 1300, sadly we didn't get to say Hi,

A very clean 1300 FWD, I learned to drive in one of these but not as nice as this one and that was 30yrs ago..!

If only all engines were this clean..!

Dan with his treasured 1500HL, it's good to see the young'ens being passionate about our cars..!

Jame's lovely & uniquely coloured 1850, just after the thunder & rain...

Reg's lovely Inca auto Sprint looking imposing, a credit to his restoration skills...

James & Dan checking out UJO..!

I bet these pumps never saw £139.99(+) per litre, or gallon

We didn't get to say hi to GOV's owner either, still it looked good in the sun, a credit to the owner...

Vulcan was in the air, shame it did not do a closer flyby, this was the best I could do with my lens...

The 'Old Bill' attended the show, but no fear they were the celeb kind...

Finally for the 'Back to future' fans, a lonesome De Lorean was spotted sunning itself nearby...
Overall, a good day and I'd recommend others to go for next year...
Regards Dave...

I though it was a great day out, although only spotted about 4 Dollys, must have missed the others. Everywhere I looked there seemed to be a Stag, but that 1300 in the picture above was a great car.
Always interesting seeing other's photos of my car (Inca one at the top), as it provides a fresh incentive to finish the jobs I've put off so far this year (rust/paint work and cleaning wheels!).
Had to head off after lunch, missus and kids (and dog) had seen all the cars they could take in, but well worth the trip. Next year I'll ensure Dolly is gleaming!

It was a great day out and really nice to meet Reg, Dave and James, I can't believe it's taken me over a year to meet members off of here!
Seeing Dave's mint Sandlow Dolly has given me back so much enthusiasm to pull my finger out and get mine restored, hopefully I can make enough time alongside Uni to do it.
I'm now planning on going to Southern Dolly day, I may even bust out the rattle can and get the front looking respectable for it...

@ every one of the cars in that selection of pictures, Reg.
Either your camera has a "cool car content only" mode or your personal taste in old motors is absolutely brilliant.
