Dyna,
I am a bit late picking up on this, but anyway.......

1850s use either of two slave cylinders both of which are 7/8" bore. (Girling or Lockheed)
The type shown in the photos from Craig and Mart is common to the Vitesse.
The other type (which looks like your one) is common to the Sprint and T2000 (not necessarily T2500).
These have matching pushrods.......

From page 1E 07L of the 76 Dolomite parts book,
the former slave part no. is 156604 with pushrod 138572 or 132239
and the latter is TKC2786 with pushrod 138572.

Ive never seen a lockheed one on a dolomite. Ive seen both shapes by Girling with the flanges in both positions and pushrods to match.

As your parts book says...the pushrod must match the cylinder.

I removed the slave cylinder from my 1850 to take some measurements.
The pushrod is 80mm long and the slave is the TKC2786 (T2000 type).

Does anyone have the dimension of the pushrod used with the Vitesse type cylinder?

Interesting, ours is as said before 75mm, although our slave looks to have a larger offset than the 2000 slave you have. Hubby made a 10mm spacer to extend the offset on our slave and the clutch works like charm now...

Cheers Dyna

PS: We got the Dolomite MOTed yesterday with flying colors..
