Mine is due end of June - I'm going to squeeze Le Mans and Goodwood out of it first, though... New rack to fit in the meantime, and the discs got rather pitted over Winter, so new pair to go on. I'm hoping its current garage stint will sort all the welding that's required. - fingers crossed, anyway..

A really satisfying day for me too today as after loads of work, GYM 642N, the pimento 1500TC auto I saved from the crusher last year sailed through this afternoon.

Another Dolly lives to fight on......

Well done Martin.

Saw the reg and saw your sig and thought hang on.... L reg is the one that crosses the tax free threshold so 76 & N doesn't feel right so:

The enquiry is complete

The vehicle details for GYM 642N are:

Date of Liability 01 05 2006
Date of First Registration 12 11 1974
Year of Manufacture 1974
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1493CC
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type Petrol
Export Marker Not Applicable
Vehicle Status Unlicensed
Vehicle Colour RED
Vehicle Type Approval null
The information contained on this page is correct at the time of enquiry.
Vehicle Excise Duty Rate for vehicle
6 Months Rate £63.25
12 Months Rate £115.00

Long, long shot being registered in november but it might be worth cheking the chassis number against the list on the isle of wight triumph site. See link in Stan Part's sig iirc.

Handbrake sorted last weekend.
New rear pads too.
New rear shocks & axle topped up yesterday evening.
Just checked rocker & point gaps, plug colour, all good.
Wound down mixture a flat & idle speed anyway, now reads 3.1 co.
Oil topped up & dizzy lubricated.
Wheel bearings tightened.

Wish me luck

Pass 8)

Advisaries on:

NS brake hose slight deterioration - Knew that and it is slight so got a braided set in Rimmers sale, not had time to borrow mates ezbleed yet.
Both front bearings - my arse. Both 4000 miles & 2 months old. Both bind & don't spin properly if 1/12th tighter, both were tried and backed off 1/12 this morning.
NSU ball joint - a fair cop. Was really a borderline fail (which side of that line I'll let you guess) but he knows me and I knew I had stock which I have now fitted.

Emissions 2.84% CO & 604 HC

Put the carbs up a flat this morning. I'll see how it is on a cold morning, up Reigate hill and on the m25 before I decide about winding it back down. At most they'll go down 1/2 a flat.
