Welcome to....
the new rear occupant gassing insurance invalidating cheapskate exhaust of the year competition...
With your welding skills you could at least have made an effort at following the original pattern...

Note from Admin: sadly Jon passed away in February 2018 but his humour and wealth of knowledge will be fondly remembered by all. RIP Jonners.
I have a new design anyway. for when its sprint powered. straight pipe from down pipe, an incy wincy silencer, the pipe under the axle if possible, a Y piece then two exits just off the centre line of the car. After driving mine with no exhaust from the down pipe back it won't take much to make it acceptable

Doesn't make it any perform any better, unfortunatelyit's not a cut up rimmers system

Shame you can't tone it down to like a 60 degree but I guess even then that'd mean shuffling it about so much that it would be more hassle than benifit.
If it ain't broke and all that........
Braver man than me! I suspect it might not last long there but you'd have to trial fit something and see if it snagged or snatches on the ground under loadpipe under the axle if possible
But that should work perfectly well - in fact, it's really not that far off what the Janspeed system was, barring the tailpipestraight pipe from down pipe, an incy wincy silencer, a Y piece then two exits just off the centre line of the

So lets mess with the side profile instead, when sitting in traffic in town blow poisons over all of the pedestrians and risk our exhaust being ripped off at the slightest change in road surface!.I feel the rear boot line, the under side of it atleast, get's ruined by an exhaust running along it.
Why not french in a larger tube through the cill box section and have a nice rearward swept twin pipe exiting through that?
