Yes I guess if any of these cars had a respray at some point which is more than likely , any old pinstripe could be put on. The front end was rearranged when a tractor tried to pull it out of it's resting place :|

What's the story behind these cars...?!

Will any of them be saved?! I do hope the 'Autocar' one will live to see another day...!!!

I went to look at a maple brown Sprint on a farm near Market Drayton about 10 years ago, it was a couple of fields away from the road and past economic restoration then; I wonder if its the same one

Just to confirm that FRW802L is alive and well and gets out of the garage regularly in the nicer months. She needed some paint to keep her beautiful but, apart from that, as I received her.
It isn't Orange!!!!!!
The other one wasn't Purple either!!!
One of the new ones will probably be green, very green.
Another new one is green too but not as green as the previous one. Still pretty green. No, now it's Blue.
The other new one will be white with stripes. Actually it might not. No, it will be.
BUT, that one is definitely Yellow :=}

Surprised UOY386M only when for £2k, was thinking about sticking in a bid on it but didn’t as I was thinking it was going to sell for over £5k, wish I did now, aw well

I'm not surprised at the £2k selling price, for one thing, I think the ebay pics flattered it somewhat, it's been off the road for a VERY long time and is bound to need a ruck of work, both mechanically and bodily. Also, having seen for myself, just how fragile and vulnerable the front end is to serious damage from an apparently relatively minor front end impact, it could easily need jigging to get it straight! Finally, although it's a fairly important car in Dolomite terms, with a known provenance, it doesn't have the cachet that say, one of the Geneva cars, suddenly surfacing would! And lastly, any buyer would both need to appreciate the cars heritage AND have deep enough pockets to do it justice!

What Carledo said. As an amateur, if it was straight and all it required was welding, I could probably cope with that. Accident repair is a whole other story taking it way into professional territory IMO. Especially hard when good replacement panels are so thin on the ground.
