I suppose I should update this a bit....

So Castle Combe was fun! I absolutely love the car! ... however it didn't like the day as much as I did... and has been standing at my local garage since then :(
Horrible noise from the rear axle, most probably bearing or maybe diff. I usually do all the work on my cars myself but haven't got much time at the moment (work work work) so hopefully they will get it sorted at some point.

Couple of videos from the event:

Great stuff, looks comfy in there!
Oversteers a bit doesnt it?
Is it a bit hard on the back (however you may like lots of oversteer)

Very nice to see a Dolly out on track as they are really fun to drive.

I think the car was originally built as a drift machine, where massive oversteer is the whole point rather than just showing off.
Is it gonna be back on the road for RRG Nico?

Wow, so it still has the stock armchairs in there! I can see what Jon meant by comfy now.

I love the comfy/bouncy armchairs!

Yes it's a bit oversteery but I love it! It's a combination of welded diff + stiff rear + my driving style. It's not the fastest way around a track but it's definitely the most fun!
I will soften the rear dampers next time and see how it goes.

Not sure if it's going to be ready for the Retro Ride event... :| I've bought a set of bearings and seals. I hope it'll be sorted soon.

If I can't bring the Dolomite... I just bought a mk1 Honda Insight... does that qualify as "retro"? :P
