the only things i've ever seen like that on the canals are the 'rafts' that boat yards have to get their tools and parts to boats that are otherwise very difficult to reach, easily stitched together in a day by some apprentice and actually do the job.From the front it looks like a barge,
anyway, funnily enough, i was thinking about doing a similar thing to the left-overs of 'project vultures', a dead 1850 auto with a big front ender. this was a couple of yrs ago, but then thought i'd have to ruin the @rse end appeal of my sprint by slapping a towbar on it, so it got weighed in (after the diff was sold for more than i paid for the car, and the axle was donated to 'charity')
