Canley were doing them cheap?
How cheap is 'cheap'? If everyone is relaxed about the situation, then need I bother? Or will everyone throw away their old sets before we realise there is an issue and the core is gone?
Canley currently list them at £18.25 per axle set but there currently out of stock and available to order.

Alan, over the winter months i will be having a sort out in my garage, sheds, caravan and anywhere else i might find spares so i might have some core parts for you, calipers and brake shoes, is there anything else you use before i throw anything away ?
I could get these to you at stoneleigh if it is on and you are there.

Hi Steve,
Calipers, master cylinders, steering racks, starters, alternators all gratefully received, though without an economic recon contact for the electricals I have nowhere to send them at the moment.
I will likely go to Stoneliegh in Feb/March but fulfilled a promise not to take a stall this year and enjoyed it far more, so probably won't take one again, but you'll probably find me loitering around the Club stand!

Hi Alun,
If your coming down here again I have a good pair of calipers, a good steering rack (needs boots) and 3 sets of rear sprint shoes (contaminated with oil).
Free of course.
+ you get a cup of tea as does anyone who picks up to give to Alun.
I am in south Hants.

There's a local company to me that does recon of starters/alternators. Nice bunch, may be worth giving them a shout.

Thanks Steve, a bit far from me and postage on these things kills viability instantly, though my sister lives in Beaminster...
I'll now be at NEC on Sunday Paul, so can relieve you of your core in person; I'll take a strong rucsac!!

I'm going to the NEC on Sunday too so I'll bring what I have...a pair of calipers and a few pairs of brake shoes if required....anyone fancy swapping the lot for the small brkt that goes underneath the bigger brkt that fastens to the exhaust and engine steady brkt?
Lot of brkts there mind!

Hi Alun.....I was going to come back and have a chat with you yesterday when you were less busy but I ran out of time I'm afraid!
Did you manage to find part 159381 by any chance?
I've even managed to find the part number of it now!
Hope you had a good day!
