Fitting Toledo Short Bumpers to my '80 Dolomite?
Re: Fitting Toledo Short Bumpers to my '80 Dolomite?
Dam I was hoping no one had considered doing this!
I'm planning to do the same with the short bumper on the rear but I'm still looking for one. Missed the eBay one though
MUST LOOK HARDER!! Keep us updated I'd be very interested!
As for the front bumper, I too have thought of the "moustache" idea. Cutting the front bumper though may leave an unprofessional finish, unless you could get it professionally done? Every car show we've been to we have looked for something that could fit a dolly but so far been unsuccessful! I suspect I'll just go bumperless with mine...

I have found a place that potentially has the front and rear bumper irons.
Shep - Toledo Front Short bumper you could cut up
- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Triumph-Toled ... 1786682237
I'll keep everyone updated when I get the parts through etc and say if it all fits together or not
Thanks
Jack

Good News: RIMMER SHIPS over here FAST
Bad News: #819159 Rear Irons do not work putting the "shorty" Toledo bumpers on my Sprint.
Is there another option?

Make them yourself! At the end of the day they're only a bit of steel bar bent to shape and with a few holes drilled in them! Hardly rocket science!georgiasprint wrote:Good News: RIMMER SHIPS over here FAST

DAMNIT Steve. You're right. What was I thinking? I have a vise. I'm going to San Francisco next week. After that I will make it happen!
