As to where you get springs that fit where they should touch, rather than where they do, I'm in the same boat as you, and can't help.

I have been looking around, e.g. at Fitchetts as suggested, but the few sources I've found all seem to offer the same 3 options for new springs. That, to me, suggests there's only one primary source at the moment. The problem with that is this:

For what it is worth, I recently bought a set of four std diam springs from Jigsaw. 190 front and 180 rear, all -1". Currently waiting for them to be fitted.
