Maybe the seller can't type and meant chassis number less than 250.

Back in the nineties, the Dolomite Sprint Register (or was it the early TDC) published three books of compiled magazine articles.
The first one, in particular, I think will interest you as it details the responses from the motoring press along with much on the specifications
and changes that along the way came.
The print quality is not so good, in fact it is quite rubbish really, but nonetheless I think it could be worth looking for.

Is this anything to do with the Club supplied recon mastercylinder like the one I bought about 12 months ago perchance?
Only the single line ones, your's was tandem wasn't it?

I've had a club tandem cylinder on the Carledo for 18 months now, always hard driven and no probs whatever. Which makes the club one, by a country mile, the most reliable of the 4 tandem cylinders the car has had!

Don't suppose you've PDFs or sim. of these articles you could post/PM?

The 16v Slant 4 engine is more fun than the 3.5 V8, because you mostly drive it on the upslope of the torque curve.
Factory 1977 TR7 Sprint FHC VVC 697S (Now all of, but still needs putting together)

I've found someone in Ormskirk with a jig and the will to do my doly. Interestingly, the guy with the jig is a mate of two guys who are quoting on the repairs and respray. He got them to take some measurments, and from those alone asked if the subframe had been moved - which was my original theory.

Oh i see its in the for sale section, i see what you mean...i though you meant to sell the exhaust haha, thats a pity mate but all the best with the sale
Thanks Russell....on second thoughts, I'm going to retain the plate and break it after taking bits off that I want: it's just far too rotten to be viable as a restoration.....it is proving very useful to see how the loom should go together though as I'm fitting a new one to mine and it's not entirely obvious how it goes!
Come and see some pretty shoddy, slow driving of a really well prepared competition Sprint here!
