Hi Russell,
Yes we were both ok, just a few bruises, but my pride was massively dented but it really taught me to respect a rear wheel drive car in the snow!
Thanks for starting this thread & bringing back those memories.

Hi Tony,
Relieved to hear you were both ok!! Yes i can imagine your pride being dented but as you say its something you'll never forget and i bet you think of it every time it snows!!
You are most welcome, i love a good reminisce and cars seem to have more memories attached to them than most "objects" - I'm a huge believer in taking photos of everything, always have been, even stuff that you think is normal and mundane now because in 20, 30 years time...the photos and memories are all we tend to have of "those days" really
Hope you and your car are well.
Kind Regards
Russell.

My first memory involves another member: Hans ten Broeke. I was about 10 or 12 years old. My uncle raced on trackdays with a 400 bhp Escort MK2 Zakspeed and I wouldn't miss it for the world so on trackdays I even bailed. Anyhow: on those same trackdays, sometimes Hans was there with his Dolomites. I have no pictures of my own but this is one of the BCCP cars on that particular track (TT Assen).
