or something with a non Triumph engine either....:-)

Very rare is a grey interior and really ought go in something that really needs it and had one to start with.
Your cars can quite happily have black brown or new tan.
Plenty of choice about...

That's fair enough Saj, so, assuming Alun does break this one, can I have your old grey doorcards? I don't mind if they have speaker holes in them!
I have 2 black sets I can part ex into the mix, 1 near mint set with speakers in the front ones and an uncut set in not so good nick, card wise, but undamaged on the viewing face.

Since I have now chosen "Smoke Grey de Milan" as my exterior colour with grey Rover leather seats and gunmetal/polished fake minilites, some grey doorcards would just add the finishing touch.

This is the colour I have chosen, apparently it was used on european Sprints in Holland and Italy to respray originally Yellow cars which looked too much like Taxis for the buying public.

Honestly Jonners, I don't think it's for you to say what I can or can't put in my car, any more than you can control my choice of powerplant.

I have grey in the Carledo too, but that's what it came with.

No but it is reasonable to comment on the worthiness...:-) We both do this all the time.
You can put in what you like. Your car your rules....etc

Anyway the comment was more to the seller....or so I thought. Its for him to assess whether your cause is worthy.

Hobo is doubly worthy in view of his recent losses.

That I won't dispute, which is why I would be happy to accept Hobo's old ones.

Thats a nice colour choice Steve, not one I've seen on a Sprint before.

No English Sprints that I am aware of left the works with metallic paint of any colour. From what I understand, this was almost a bodge done by european dealers or distributors to shift the poor selling yellow cars. They painted them this colour, put leather trim inside and called them a limited edition, an idea copied by BL with the SE a few years later!

Since my car is rather a long way from original (and since I don't like vermillion cos it's too loud and reds fade) I have chosen this, it's almost factory, more dignified, doesn't clash too badly with a black vinyl roof and dark colours make the car appear lower.

Steve

Hmmm.......

Someone could do both…..
sort this car and sell the grey interior, taking another colour as a trade-in.

There is also Cig burns on 2 seats.

Many thanks for your understanding Jonners

Are you certain your '73 Sapphire Sprint has a grey interior? My sapphire Sprint has a blue interior...

I'm pretty sure that with Sapphire you could have either blue, grey or black trim.

Blue and grey are both hens teeth now as both were dropped from the range in 75 IIRC.

100% Alun, I believe that it is the only Sapphire Sprint remaining that has a Grey Interior.
