Personally, I can't think of a better way to spend what will be my 50th birthday, I might even supply the cakes and make effort to have a roadworthy Dolomite to bring
Dont lie Alun, you're not 50, you're one of those 35 year olds with a hipster beard! :D

George,
I'm planning to go all being well in my sprint.
I can pick you up on my way through if you'd like a lift.

Thanks Simon, That's me definitely going now and what a treat to be chauffeured in a Sprint, I've not been in a roadworthy Dolomite in years. Will PM you closer to the time.
George.

As usual lately, TDCIR conflicts with the family holiday, but since we will only be up the road a bit in Burnham on sea, I'll probably make it over, albeit in SWMBOs Picasso. I'll have to hide it out of sight somewhere!

Guys, I am new to this forum as I wanted to pick your brains now and then. I am close to Calne so hope to tag along with my totally modified Dolly 1850.
Hope I don't put anybody's nose out by bring a kit car. If I do just tell me to BOG OFF.

Cheers,
Gary

Hi Gary, Is that a Robin Hood with an 1850 lump ? I'd be very interested to view that if you are there. My nephew has one as well with a Sprint lump in it and I'm hoping to get him along to Calne as well.
There used to be a TDCIR prize category for kit-cars and the most interesting visitors' car so please do come along and have a chat.
Cheers for now,
Tony.

Yes it is Tony. It was one of the first Robin Hoods sold and it is about 24 years old. You don't see many Triumph ones at kit car shows it's always the later Ford based ones.

The only thing that will stop me from being at Calne is the weather as I have no weather gear. Hope to see you there.

You're more than welcome to bring the Robin Hood as it is a "Club car". If I were going, I'd be in the Picasso so Steve would be in good company.

One week to go!

Gary, you are very welcome to bring your Robin Hood, we would love to see it.

The silverware has been polished and is ready to go.

The weather is looking rather changeable at the moment, however we will be there rain or shine!

The museum opens from 11am, I will be there from 9:30am setting up. If anyone would like to come from about 10 to help me erect the marquee that would be great.

We look forward to seeing you all.

Your polishing is way better than your tiling James! :-"
Current fleet: '75 Sprint, '73 1850, Daihatsu Fourtrak, Honda CG125, Yamaha Fazer 600, Shetland 570 (yes it's a boat!)

Past fleet: Triumph 2000, Lancia Beta Coupe, BL Mini Clubman, Austin Metro, Vauxhall Cavalier MK1 & MK2, Renault 18 D, Rover 216 GSI, Honda Accord (most expensive car purchase, hated, made out of magnetic metal as only car I've ever been crashed into...4 times), BMW 318, Golf GTi MK3 16v x 3

Tiling's correct, sockets were installed to low by the electrician, just need to adjust them.
