Overdrive problem.

My local classic friendly garage changed the fitted solenoid today for a spare that I had so at the weekend if it is still warm I may get time to take the car for a decent run down the motorway to see if the problem has been solved.

Yesterday I was able to give the car a good run up the motorway from Plymouth to Bristol and it was a warm day so it was a good test.

The O/D worked perfectly, coming out on demand so I obviously had the same problem as GTS 290N. One to remember. It is strange as the one that came out looks fine, incl O rings and works perfectly on a 12volt battery.
