I've had a few more useful skip finds in recent weeks, one of which I had never come across before. This was a plastic (polypropylene I think) storage tower on casters, with eight 7-litre capacity drawers, made by a British company called Really Useful Products Ltd.

The unit was marked:

Reallyusefulproducts.com

DT Clear 8x7 Rainbow draws | Made in UK

Barcode: 5 060231 633465

Temperature range: -15ºC ~ 0 ºC ~ +80 ºC

Unit’s Approximate External Dimensions = 36-11/16 inches (932 mm) high x 16-9/16 inches (421 mm) long x 11-13/16 inches (300 mm) wide

Drawer Internal Dimensions = 14 inches (364 mm) long x 9¼ inches (232 mm) wide x 3¼ inches (83 mm) deep

Drawer Colours: pink, red, orange, yellow, green, light-blue, dark-blue & violet

Temperature range: -15ºC ~ 0 ºC ~ +80 ºC

This appears to be the same as the one I salvaged from the skip, with eight different "rainbow" drawer colours:

I have provisionally decided to use it to store my archived Open University mathematics course units from the late 1980s to late 1990s. They sometimes come in useful for my mathematics private tutoring. It will be much easier to retrieve them from this than from the stacking mushroom trays and box-files I have previously used.

Some other items I found in the same skip, included:

A pair of green wellington boots

Tennis racket & carrying case – Slazenger PRO twenty 7 | Tim Henman

Badminton racket & carrying case – Carlton POWERFLO BR
