I used Sierra calipers and to be on the safe side ground the outside edge to miss the inner surface of the wheel just in case, even though I detected no interference - I also had them refurbished by Bigg Red and plated...

Looking good How much do big red charge for the refurb?

Think it was £100 which I was happy with for peace of mind.
