I’m on the reserve list, but fairly high up so fingers crossed I’ll be taking part. It’ll be my first time, too - really excited!
I’m digesting all the tips and advice here as best I can

I managed after advice to get myself registered (and the car) with a couple of days to spare. So the panic was not SO intense!
To those on the reserve list, take heart! For reasons of his own, Mahesh didn't get us booked in till the second day of opening for the 2018 RBRR and hence got reserve number 147! We still got to go and more than a few with higher numbers than us also made it! The run organisers have also repeatedly said that so far, in all the preceding events, no one who wanted to go has been refused. The long period between entry and event has always meant quite a few dropouts and probably always will! In 2018 there were over 160 entries but only 121 cars made it to the start line.
