I agree that the bracket must be distorted some how. The holes would have to have elongated a lot for it to be that far out. The bracket does look like a Sprint one, from the pic, and it will only fit in one position.

Are you able to shine a torch in there to see what's happening?
Sprintless for the first time in 35+ years. :boggle2: ... Still Sprintless.

Hi gents.

The postman has just delivered the NOS bracket from Rimmers. When comparing the two brackets, I can clearlysee mine is deformed, so this must be the issue. Quite how/why this is the case I don't know, but I will swap it over in due course.
