NGE 6V was registered in Glasgow assuming that it is the original number plate. I have a list of all the registration area codes for the prefix and sufix plates issued between 1963 & 2001.
My cars are as follows:
Baby Blue (CDB324L) - Stockport
Snowdrop (DCP625S) - Halifax
Becky (A846BEC) - Cumbria
2-door Toledo (SAY414M) - Leicester
Spares 1500 (GGN573J) - London

What period did that cover out of interest?? As according to that, Glasgow would have to be SA - SJ
