As I've mentioned on your 'full' thread, I've been in correspondence with 123ignition and they can do a Sprint distributor if you send them the old one as they need to take pieces out of it (the cog mostly). The price is a bit steep but apparently it transforms the engine (all other things being sound).

The price may well have come down a bit now as I have bought a unit to replace the 44D4 currently fitted so the design work is done.
