Good luck with putting the glass back in those rear doors Martin, just done a couple and it really is pretty tight swinging it back through from vertical to horizontal inside the doors - very little room, much cursing and scratched hands on those ever present sharp bits around the apertures.
But if anyone can do it....

Had Mart and Mary been available to BL, I'm sure the organisation would still be around, and Dolly Sprints would still be made for a small number of astute customers, just like Bristol cars still do.
I get a closer look this Saturday

The way I put the rear door bits back in Alan is to start by putting the quarter light in, then put the drop window in (sideways then rotate as you said). There is a fair amount of room if nothing else is already fitted. Then I put the chrome runner in.
More space in the garage on Saturday.

Good solid progress mate.
I cannot comprehend the speed of your builds. I think I am going backwards compared to you!
Always very cool to get updates from you.
Take care mate.

Thanks guys.
TBH the brake M/C is a fairly new one which I bought from Alun. Usually I use Gunk & a toothbrush to get it as clean as possible. The bulkhead pad isn't new but was in pretty good nick when we got it. Mary washed it & then put shoe polish on it.

Got a shock yesterday. I was underneath putting the fuel lines back in & noticed what I thought was underseal flaking off. When I investigated further, it was a flap of metal. I now have a 1 inch square hole in the rear end of the chassis rail. Having sold both of my welders a few weeks ago I'm a bit stuck. I'm sure I'll sort something out.

As i have been pretty busy lately when i saw this thread had gone from 4 pages to how ever many it is now.
I knew i was in for happy viewing.
I think you should continue on with the sprint restos, if you are going to keep restoring as a big part of getting these cars done is money and support. Which your perfect sprints return!
So what happen at the sprayer?
I thought we were looking at 3 months or something.

Hmmm! strange that. We agreed a date of the end of March (give or take a couple of weeks) and he stuck to it.
I haven't posted any pics for a while so here's one with the front seats, rad, grilles & lights fitted. Hoping to get the bonnet & boot returned on Saturday so that Jon can do the final polishing.
