Just a reminder:
Now compare the original colour to what's there now:
Can't wait to get the lights and some trim back on to see what it looks like, am fairly happy with it so far.

Looks excellent!
Although Pearl White isn't really Honeysuckle-like at all... did you get L87?

Hi Howard, deffo what I asked for and confirmed. Oh well, I quite like this colour. Hopefully when I get more it'll match. Maybe I'm just being rubbish at colours.

What do we reckon to a narrow, tasteful red, white and blue stripe on the car, complete with a set of black alloys?

And a "53" on the bonnet?

It's a white car, right, so why buy a three-way stripe where one of the colours won't be noticed against the paint? Save money and buy a red and blue stripe.

Here is a picture of some White Stripes; the allegedly incestuous musical turn from over the pond:

Herbie was a 1963 Beetle painted in L87 Pearl White... which is the same colour Ken is painting his FWD
I think the red/white/blue stripes would look great!
You can get the ready-made vinyl stripes ready to stick on, too. Easy if you change your mind in the future. Just remember to put them on the RIGHT side of the car!

Black alloys sound good, not sure about the stripes, how about a black roof instead? That's how I'm gonna do our mini, old English White with a black rook and black alloys.

Hmm, why did they tell everyone they were siblings then? Feckin' freaks!
Black roofs work on minis, not sure that 1300 needs one, maybe a yellow roof?

Was debating a vinyl roof actually, then lots of people went..... NO!
I do like the idea of a red and blue stripe (and white), a quite narrow one that would not look OTT. Bit like the Fiat 500 stylee maybe.
