...I've just bought a Rover sd1, which I have no idea what to do with...!
Series 1 2600, silver paint/orange interior(??) 40,000 miles from new...and THE most immaculate rust-free body I've ever seen on an Sd1...!
Thing is, it's a non-runner after being laid-up for 25 years, which I don't have the faintest clue why...and I have no space for it...and I'm just about to move house...AND I have a knackered knee ! ....but...I'm an old fashioned softie, and couldn't resist saving it from the scrappies for a very reasonable price ...as the saying goes "it's far too good...."

Broke my nose Saturday, cross member fell on my face. Didn't hurt at all, until I seen the blood, then "ouch!"

Just discovered that, 10 months later, they never removed the thread:
http://retrorides.proboards.com/index.c ... ead=105743
Not been back since the banning, but it seems they didn't carry out my request to close my account and remove my details from their database. I'm sure that's a data protection issue - maybe it's time I returned?

'On topic'
Having just read your thread on retro rides, I can't see what their issue is. Sarcasm and taking the Michael are just some of the fantasic things that make this Country great. I wouldn't bother going back there if I were you, sarcasms to good for them!
