Re: How bad is my Sprint?
We have two places in Weston that sell fasteners. One called "Nuts & Bolts" the other "WSM Fasteners". They have pretty much any nut & bolt you could want. I believe they were once partners.
Sprintless for the first time in 35+ years.
... Still Sprintless.
Engines, Gearboxes, Overdrives etc. rebuilt. PM me.

Pretty much....

They also keep (vast quantities of) the correct gear oil for Triumphs.

Re: How bad is my Sprint?
But not in Cheshire it would seem!
Can get 4" 3/8 UNC but not 3.75" even from those places in Weston Mart....what length do you use?
Additionally, the parts catalogue shows full thread....

Ideas chaps?

Re: How bad is my Sprint?
Tony - masked all the outer surface with tape and used a flat rubber block with wet and dry.....my arm nearly fell of afterwards! Tried to use a dremmel but the grades of abrasive wheels I had were either too coarse or did nothing!

Buy some 4" ones and cut them down - try these people https://www.namrick.co.uk/acatalog/Home ... ts_18.html
I have purchased new bolts / set screws from them Inc. manifold bolts - mine just need cutting to the correct length.

Re: How bad is my Sprint?
Due to the light you can't see much difference, but this picture is the exhaust manifold after being shot blasted and after having a broken stud removed and a tap run down all three threads...

I then opened up the exit ports to suit the gasket as I don't have the Jigsaw down pipe yet, hoping that they're something like...

....and then sprayed it silver using Halford's manifold paint..

Picking up yet more powder coated stuff tonight and will report back...it'll be all about reassembling soon!
