I do believe I will.

A moment of temporary madness. Must have been all the sun I've recently had and the shock of returning to the UK to find it feels like winter has set in a tad early. Wifey put the c heating on tonight. Bloody hell, it's only Sept.

I had the pleasure of seeing this car in the "flesh" finished over the weekend - what a stunner! It is a fabulous car, I hope you do hang on to it and enjoy it for a while Derek.
Thanks for sorting out mine, I managed to get home wthout wrapping it around a lampost. It now feels like all 127 horses are on tap.

Cheers.

Took the Sprint for a run today in the sunshine. Parked up on two separate occasions to take a few pictures and 2 separate passers by stopped to chat. Both asked what the colour was and remarked how fantastic it looked. Nothing like an ego boost on a Sunday morning. Here's the pix. Must admit, it does look nice.

Sometimes greed is good.

I've gone from having 1 car to 3 in the space of a week.

I now have the Sprint, a Mk2 Capri Ghia (no it's not green) and later this week, a 3 series Beemer. Oh and Reg's Sprint........that's 4.

Wife says she's buying me some bunting

Don't forget the trilby hat and sheepskin coat, Arfur!

Oh, and you'll need the XJ6 saloon to complete the look.

Well today was a sad day for me. HWL has found a new home on the Isle Of Man. Tony Ronan is now the proud new owner. Tony flew down to Gatwick, got a train to Guildford and was collected in the Sprint. Tony intends to use the car as his daily driver, which is great.
Following an inspection he was happy that I had described the car accurately and the deal was complete.

Here's Tony before setting off on his return journey.

You could be mistaken for thinking this was a 70's petrol forecourt......almost.

Just before Tony reached the A3 and we parted company

This now sits in HWL's place. Not as pretty, but this and Reg's car will keep me occupied during the winter.
