Very nice work. I hope I can get somewhere near that standard when I have to do the sills on my own car.
For anyone welding zintec steel or any other galvanised steel, please take note, there are some nasty poisonous gasses given off :

Some great work and fabrication there.
I think it is better to plug weld that chassis rail to replicate the original spot welds it will be stronger.

Cheers Tony. I agree with plug welding the chassis rail however this is already welded on and was not done by myself and uncle. It is very strong and I will make it stronger by finishing small parts that the previous welder has missed.
More progress from tonight. The big gaping hole is now gone!!
Tomorrows plan is clean up the welds on this repair then finish off the near side cill end:)

Nice work..love the shed, wish I had something like that to actually move around the car in.
<sigh>..ah well.
What process did you use BTW to remove the underseal?

Cheers mate. For the under seal I used a heat gun to soften the under seal then scraped the worst of it off. Then just hit it with a knot wheel on a grinder. In the smaller nooks it was scraped out with a screwdriver then washed with thinners:)
This is tonight's effort.
Rubbish pictures sorry! More tomorrow:D
