You must have some patience to be putting all they photos in your posts!

Mind you that is to be expected given your efforts sorting this car :D .
Good effort, keep it up.

Presume those are fiberglass?

How are you attaching them without compromising the shell strength in the rear wing to wheel arch attachment?

Thanks Ian. Very patient! Haha. They are fibreglass Jon. They will be bolted to the panel mate. The strength of the inner wheel arch to what's left of the outer wheel arch is made by bridging the gap with steel. So all the panels are back as strong(if not stronger in places) than it was originally:) plenty of pictures to illustrate :)

Tonight we continued to re make the inner wheel arch.

Also as I was cleaning the paint off the osr wing I found some original lettering. I didn't really pay any attention to it as I assumed it would be just random numbers and letters meaning something only to British leyland. However tonight my uncle spotted what it actually says.

It's a little difficult to make out but it says B S PORT TALBOT

I live in port talbot haha. The mad thing is the rolls from the works may only have had that printed on it once. Yet by chance it's on my car!

More tomorrow!

Today saw the o/s cill bottom fitted. Didn't really need a new one but we thought it would match the other side better.

Did you just put that over the top of the old one or did you cut the old one out?

I was wondering what the "treatment" of the old was for if you were cutting it out...

Yea jon it is over the top mate. We should have replaced it when we did the outer cills but doing it on the floor we decided we would patch it. Now that the car is on the rollover we decided to fit the new one but it would Have meant removing the new outer cills we fitted. So the rust was cut out and the rest treated then we fitted over the top.

This is tonight's work.
