It doesn't look like we achieved much today but there has been stuff going on that hasn't been fitted yet.
Headlining has now been finished off. It had two coats of vinyl silk and the grab handles have been cleaned up and fitted...
Wiring loom, brake union and pipes fitted...

Mart, looks excellent as always. That Vinyl Silk trick seems to deliver excellent results and I know Ken has used it many a time, but it still sounds alien.
Looking forward to seeing thi come together

Vinyl Silk? As in Dulux emulsion? Or is that a special coating?
Any more info please.

I think it'll look really nice in pomegranite grey with a couple of 'feature' panels!

That's another job to add to my list. I've had a look at mine and it would benefit from some emulsion.

Speedy work as usual Mart. Id be interested to see more detailed work on the roof fitting as I may have one to do soon. Is it just contact adhesive? How is it best to get the folds and tucks into the screen rubber areas and the bit that ends on the A pillars is that glued and folded then glued to the a post?
Must admit its quite daunting to think about but yours look nice and smooth

Tony, if you look through my other restos there should be a few more detailed pics. Mary does the trimming, gradually cutting the vinyl back into the windscreen surround. But PM me if you need any more pointers.

I think XJX must have been in the middle of the changeover where they were possibly using up the stock of single line bits. As Colin has provided me with a new M/C as well I thought I would keep it single line.
