Ah! it doesn't, it pivots in the offside one. I didn't see anything to suggest that it was the n/s one you're doing, still can't, for that matter. Conclusion; I'm missing something, so no surprise there then....

N/S is the easy one, well easier, since not only does it not have the relay shaft to worry about, nor does it contain the master cylinder, that being the usual cause of premature rot in the o/s one.

Nick, that Minor Traveller must be about one of the last? Does it have the steering lock as found on late ones?
Ken, sorry about that, but sometimes little, ostensibly unimportant things can bug a person for ages if he doesn't put them to sleep, as it were.

Spent Tuesday doing a massive grindathon, I love using the grinder. Am getting rather good at precision grinding

The truly horrible rusty n/s chassis rail is history! Just a small amount of dressing with the 'lecky file should have it all ready for the replacement to be cut to size and welded in place. Yay! Photos on saturday once it's all done..... promise.

Hot grinder spark down your lughole is a bit uncomfortable isn't it.

Spent more tien the Moggie this morning. Just had a couple of spots to grind away. Still need to spend about another 1/2 hour on it. I will then cut the new chassis rail roughly to size then trim accordingly.

I actually really enjoy fabricating stuff, however, on this occasion I can't take the credit, there are some really nice repair sections around. Rita was persuaded to buy me one for Christmas and that will be going on soon. Progress for sure.
