Triumph Car Day at the Ace Cafe 12th June/Bromley Pageant
Re: Triumph Car Day at the Ace Cafe 12th June/Bromley Pageant
Ok, I will bring the banner, some barbie meat products and some buns. How much charcoal ya got Martin?
If someone can email me a TDC application form I can print some off to take with me.
Lift-wise Martin, happy to oblige but I'm not sure we'll get everything in LD. What are the options.
Happy to stick some temp Triumph badges on Howards Beetle.
Rob, want to meet me somewhere en route?
Ken

Bromley's a bit far for me but I'd planned to do the Ace - just realised it clashes with Scout Family Camp unfortunately.
If the weathers good then I might do the Classic Car night at the Ace this Tuesday, anyone ever been before?

Martin, mines not exactly show standard but it is an example of one being used everyday and an unusual colour, also I'm not actually a TDC member but if it helps let me know

Richard, I have no prejudice and would rather see a car there than a space, especially as its an example that is used regularly.
Could you, Ken and Rob please PM your home addresses and I will post out the tickets. Some basic details of your cars please gentlemen as well (reg. no., colour, no. of owners, etc) so I can make up some information cards.
Ken, we can liaise by telephone about pick up arrangements etc.
Thanks guys.

Nice video
As always, a nice selection of cars. I would have gone but I was busy doing tasks at home...... sanding down window sills
Here are some piccies from Bromley. Loads of lovely cars, too many for me to take in. The fantasy garage is now full to overflowing. Great company too. The BBQ was pretty darn good as well. I'll let the piccies tell the story. This was my first Bromley Pageant, hopefully I'll be there next year!

Hope you like the photos! Huge thanks to everyone on the stand! A great day was had by all.

Great snaps Ken.
Massive thanks to Ken, Richard and Rob for a ridiculously early start on a Sunday and for giving the day up to ensure a Club presence. Thanks to all of you also for all your help setting up and taking down again at the end of the day.
Nice to see so much interest in the cars and so many folk offering cars or parts. Really enjoyed meeting the chap (Ian?) with the very clean Panther Rio as well.
i thought it was a super show, and like you Ken I thoroughly enjoyed the company.
Roll on next year!

Hi Ken
I was just about to post my photos of the TDC at Bromley, but yours are better!
It was a good day, and I agree, the BBQ was great too
Thanks to Martin for arranging it and the BBQ. It was worth the trip.

Great photos Ken , many thanks for posting them. As has already been said what a great day it was, 10 out of 10 for Martin for the barbie and also for organising it as well. I thoroughly enjoyed representing the TDC today, I think my car went down quite well despite discrasing itself with a small breakdown and I hope I can do so again and also of course claim a couple of new freinds out of the day

Mmmm. Nice selection Ken, thanks for whetting the old appetite with those.
I'll have the Simca 1301 Estate please, and the earlier of the CBXs for fine days.
I saw an Imp that had a CBX engine fitted amidships in a bespoke, tubular spaceframe arrangement, it was being driven very, very quickly around Croft some years ago. Crazily quick and wow! The noise from that sweet, little six was beautiful.
