Great day out and was pleased to be able to get a ticket for a run up the hill near the end of the day. Briefing over, ticket clutched in hand and headed for the car to find a flat battery. Maybe shouldn't have been running 2 cool boxes all day
With a bit of help from a Stag owner who moved his car over to help, and supplied the jump leads the my car fired up with just enough time to get the run in.
Here is the link to the youtube footage of my go up the hill. Unfortunately quality isn't great due to it being recorded by the back seat passenger on a phone and without seatbelt. http://www.youtube.com/user/sstacey217# ... hW0LdbcNBU
Had a bit of drama half way up when I hit the brakes only for my seat to lurch forward as far as it could. Obviously hadn't locked it back in place after hoovering car out yesterday.
***I'd rather ask for forgiveness after than seek permission before!!***
Indeed a great day out. Lots of Triumphs, lots of different clubs including a few from the continent and rather too much sun!
Here's a link to a run up the hill from a bumper mounted mini-cam. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMFYU_BRrPk

Nice to meet some of you BTW. Sorry I didn't get more time between marshalling and six runs up the hill to chat more!!

I shouldn't say it, ('cos I'm biased) but I love that picture of KAC travelling down the A46 towards Stratford!

Got the Sprint ready by getting the MOT on Sat and cleaned it ready to go and Diane went to bed early so as to be up for a 7 oclock go.
However when I got up I thought of the heat and 300 miles in a saloon...............and suggested we fired up the Quantum and breezed down to the New Forest for a lazy day of nothing so thats what happened!

Makes you want a Webasto!
Kicking myself for not taking my driving license to have a run up the hill. Good to meet a few people though not as many as I'd like as with my son in tow I'd already been told off for talking to too many people (whilst he sweltered in the sun) having bumped into a large number of friends earlier.
