Ken, you ain't half got the knack for that cleaning malarky. Those perforated vinyl seats in that shade of blue are exactly like the ones found in my old, Ice Blue Cypriot Automite which had them as part of its "tropical pack".

I'm liking how dribbles of some form of anti-rust goo are evident in places on the 1500, most encouraging. 8)

Cheers guys, me likes vinyl sooooo much better than the cloth material.

I have only ever seen one sun damaged rear seat upright in vinyl, compared to many, many one's in cloth.

Fitted a replacement gauge (volt, temp and fuel) today. I now have a functioning voltmeter, a relaibly reading fuel guage but still no temp guage. I will replace the thermostat and thermo switch as a matter of course.

Partial success.... yay.

Received a new 82 degree thermostat and a temp transmitter today via ebay. Will fit it tomorrow and see if that makes difference.

Fitted the new temp sensor..... the temp guage needle stubbornly refuses to budge still! Nice warm air is coming out of the vents though.

I need to make a gasket for the thermostat housing, however the rain is a bit heavy and uni work needs doing as well. Arse!
