Nice looking car by the way.

Thanks Ken, Phil has kindly offered it to me already, I'm just wondering how on earth I can get it back to Cambridge
Yeah this is the question. What kind of car will can in sit in the back of and happily get home ? We're also assuming its 'liftable' between a couple of us.. is that a correct assumption ?
In my hillman Imp days I use to carry a engine in the boot, use to give a bit of grip,
Two beefy men can handle the engine, fiesta size car can handle the weight back seats folded down and some blocks of wood to stop any rockin and a stout rope to secure it,a van is alot better, pick ups are ok but they seam to be get higher to lift the engine.
If you're adventurous, you can get the engine in where the back seat goes (it comes out easily). Just ask Adam, he shifted 3 engines in his 1850, which had a knackered engine...

Lobbed a v8 in there as well once and drive a few 'undred miles home. We did crane it in there though!

the best thing is to join the club, as they (we?) have a separate Toledo register and a Toledo technical guru who can help you with all those questions.
A Dolomite 1300 gearbox and clutch will be different to your N reg 4-door for example. Best join!!
