my guess is, by the time you've bought your ECU and all the other bits and bobs, it'll be over 2 grand!
Definitely over two grand, in fact it is over three grand.....

(You need to buy the inlet manifold and ignition leads elsewhere).

Oh.....

 Another thing is that ECUs require connecting to a Windows computer for tuning purposes.

If the worst comes to the worst, so to speak, I guess I'll have to buy a laptop for this task?

You can pick up a second hand laptop for next to nothing to run the software. That's what I did for my Megajolt build.
Sprintless for the first time in 35+ years. :boggle2: ... Still Sprintless.

Engines, Gearboxes, Overdrives etc. rebuilt. PM me.

WOW! Just looked at the list, it's VERY comprehensive and most of the extras are not needed for a road car. I'd be looking at the basic kit, plus lambda sensor and trigger wheel kit and maybe the lost spark coil, though on a Sprint, it pays to keep the distributor, if only to drive the oil pump! But you still need a fuel pump, swirl pot and return piping, plus of course a Weber manifold. So well over £2k fersure!

All I can say, is that it looks fantastic, even beautiful and will probably work very well indeed. But it makes my solution to getting a 140bhp fuel injected 2 litre Dolomite shaped car that averages 36mpg (even though it's thrashed stupid) and would ALMOST pass a cat test at MOT, seem like the bargain of the century!

:D Without doubt, the bargain of the century was when Juventus signed Andrea Pirlo from their arch rivals AC Milan......

I wouldn't know anything about that Ian, I don't follow football! But you know what they say, anything free is worth what you pay for it!
